Aruba AP-615 Foundation Care NBD Exchange-5yr – The Aruba AP-615 Wi-Fi 6E access point is part of a high-performance portfolio that covers all sorts of use cases and price points. Performance and simplicity matter, and Aruba access points support AI capabilities as well as the latest Wi-Fi 6 standards. The wide variety of models cover deployment in just about any environment. Ruggedized models also support extreme temperature and humidity requirements.
The Aruba 610 Series consist of the Aruba AP615 Wi-Fi 6E access point. As a Wi-Fi 6E access point, it extends all the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 to the 6 GHz band: speed, more 80/160 MHz channels, and less interference to support high-definition video and more clients.
The 610 series reaches up to 2.4 Gbps wireless data rate with 2SS HE160 802.11ax client devices on the 6GHz radio, up to 1.2Gbps wireless data rate with 2SS HE80 802.11ax client devices on the 5 GHz, and up to 574 Mbps wireless data rate with 2SS HE40 802.11ax client devices (287Mbps for HE20) at 2.4 GHz.
Wi-Fi 6E can reach up to 1200 MHz in the 6 GHz band. That will deliver for higher throughput and improved application performance. With up to seven 160 MHz channels, Wi-Fi 6E does better on low-latency, bandwidth hungry things like high-definition video and artificial reality/virtual reality. Only Wi-Fi 6E capable devices can use the 6 GHz band. So there is no interference or slowdowns due to legacy devices.
