The Meraki MT12
The MT12 is a water leak detection sensor. It helps protect from failed HVAC systems, adverse weather conditions, and leaky pipes. Because these are bad things. And, like all the MT sensors, the MT12 automatically pairs with Wi-Fi 6 MR access points and 2nd Generation MV smart cameras via BLE. This gives near-instant setup and seamless scalability.
You can quickly set up and manage as many environmental sensors as you want, to monitor temperature, humidity, leaks, and intrusion. Just insert the batteries and add to the dashboard. Just peel and stick. It’s literally that simple. MT environmental sensors automatically connect to existing MR and MV devices. No more on-premise servers, dedicated gateways, and management software.
Features of the Meraki MT12
The MT12 includes an 8′ water leak detection cable and can be extended up to 16′. It is sensitive enough to detect as little as 3 mL of liquid, and is IPX5-rated for durability. In addition, it has five days on-board storage and up to five years of battery life. It also has An otional AC-to-USB-C power adapter.
And the MT12 is secure!
Of course it is! Each Meraki MT sensor features a Trust Anchor module. This securely authenticates the device and encrypts all communication with the sensor gateways. Combined with automated firmware updates, the MT12 packs a powerful security punch in a smart package.
