The Aruba AP 303H is a flat-out cost-effective little 802.11ac access point. It boasts single-or dual-radio mode. And it gives excellent Wi-Fi to hospitality and branch offices. It is designed to do so at minimal cost for low-to-moderate density areas. In addition, it is software-configurable. And, it can operate in either 1×1 dual-radio mode, or 2×2 single-radio mode. It is definitely designed for the cost-sensitive end-user.
As with other Aruba APs. you cab run the AP 303H one of two ways, controller-based, or controlerless (Instant) mode.
When deployed with an Aruba Mobility Controller, the AP303H offers centralized configuration, data encryption, and policy enforcement. It will also give you network services and distributed and centralized traffic forwarding.
In controlerless (Instant) mode, the controller function is virtualized in a cluster of APs. As the network grows or requirements change, Instant deployments can easily migrate to controller-based mode.
The AP 303H supports MU-MIMO and 2 spatial streams. This will provide simultaneous data for up to two devices. This maximizes data throughput and improves network efficiency.
Some numbers on the AP 303H
It moves up to 867 Mbps at 5 GHz or 400 Mbps at 2.4 GHz in single-radio 2×2 mode. In dual-radio 1×1 mode, the maximum data rates for the 203H AP are up to 433 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 200 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band.
What we like about the AP 303H
It has great, easy-to-use technology, and has great range! It’s easy to set up multiple AP’s, including guest access. There is no dedicated controller needed. Simply power up, plug it into your network, and connect.
Even if you are not familiar with Aruba products, they are easy to master quickly. And if you need to reconfigure, using Instant Mode makes configuration straightforward.
Initial config of the Aruba AP 303H is a snap. And with the aforementioned ARM technology, you can automatically assign channel and power settings. You can also provide airtime fairness and ensure that APs stay clear of all sources of RF interference. This will ensure reliable, high performance WLANs.
Aruba is perfect for enterprise companies. It is very well suited for organizations that require a lot of wireless access points and simple, intuitive management of them. And when it comes to Wi-Fi management, Aruba gives you the flexibility to choose. You can use an Instant access point or a controller to manage an entire cluster of access points. On the other hand, you can manage them with a cloud-based or an on-site network management platform.
Aruba also has plenty of switches to integrate with your access point for ease-of-access and peace of mind. The entry-level Aruba AP 303H access point delivers superb user experience for medium density environments.
