Aruba AP203R access point
The Aruba AP203R is a flat-out cost-effective little 802.11ac access point. With single- or dual-radio mode, it gives excellent Wi-Fi to small organizations. The highly secure and reliable AP203R ensures corporate applications work remotely without disruption. They’re the perfect access point for home and small branch offices. It is designed to do its’ thing at minimal cost for low-to-moderate density areas. In addition, it is software-configurable to operate in either 1×1 dual-radio mode, or 2×2 single-radio mode. It is definitely designed for the cost-sensitive end-user. This access point requires no IT support to set up and operate.
As with other Aruba APs. you cab run the AP203H one of two ways, controller-based, or controllerless (Instant) mode.
When deployed with an Aruba Mobility Controller, the Aruba AP203R offers centralized configuration, data encryption, and policy enforcement. It will also give you network services and distributed and centralized traffic forwarding.
Aruba AP203R by the numbers
It supports up to 867 Mbps at 5 GHz or 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz in single-radio 2×2 mode. In dual-radio 1×1 mode, the maximum data rates for the 203H AP are up to 433 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 200 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band. It runs the 5GHz band in 2×2 MIMO or 2.4GHz 802.11n 2×2 MIMO, or 5GHz 802.11ac 1×1 AND 2.4GHz 802.11n 1×1. It supports 256 associated client devices per radio.
