Includes all ATP + UTP features, plus CASB, DLP, IoT detection and vulnerability correlation, attack surface monitoring and risk scoring, AI-based inline malware prevention. Empowers a proactive security posture, helps meet compliance needs, and strengthens your risk-management framework.

What’s not included: OT-specific device and protocol recognition. Add the OT Security Service for OT environments.

Unified Threat Protection – Advanced protection across network and web. Includes ATP services. Blocks more threat vectors. Includes everything in ATP + URL/DNS filtering, video filtering, anti-botnet/C2 communication services.

What’s not included: Advanced data protection (DLP), cloud application security (CASB), IoT detection, attack surface monitoring. Consider the ENT bundle (above) to add deeper content and cloud security.

Which products are not eligible for the TradeUp program?

The following products are not eligible for the TradeUp program, as well as any units that have not had support in the last 12 months: FortiVoice, FortiClient, Coyote Point, FortiToken, FortiRecorder, virtual appliances, Fortinet VM solutions, FortiSMS, FortiCarrier, VDOM, ADOM, accessories, FortiFone, FortiCamera, Fortinet Professional Services, FortiSIEM, FortiProxy, FortiCloud, FortiNAC.

What happens to traded up units?

Once a unit has been traded up, it will no longer qualify for any more renewals including trade up. End users must agree not to reuse, resell, lend, rent, or lease the replaced unit and not to use it for the provision of any kind of commercial services to third parties.

What is the process for transferring a support subscription from an EOO to a recommended replacement unit?

End users can transfer support subscriptions in the Asset/Manage Products area on the support site as follows:

1. Select the serial number of the product to be replaced.
2. Click on the Registration/RMA Transfer option and insert the serial number of the new unit.
3. Click on Save and ensure that the transfer of services is confirmed. Once existing services have been transferred to the replacement unit, additional standalone subscriptions can be registered.
