The W1850 5GB is purpose-built for the new high-performance low, mid-band 5G spectrum. To address the tradeoff of lower propagation, Cradlepoint designed the W1850 to be placed separately from the router for optimal signal reception. The stylized W1850 5GB Adapter is designated for optimal indoor placement.
Performance of the Cradlepoint W1850
The CradlePoint W1850 has a high-performance processor to easily handle branch workloads while providing advanced features. It pushes 2 Gbps of IP Passthrough Mode Throughput. It also reaches 2 Gbps Standard NAT Mode Throughput and 2 Gbps Captive Modem Mode Throughput. Peak downlink rates are up to 4.14 Gbps, and peak uplink rates are up to 660 Mpbs (based on 2 layers LTE + TDD.
